About the Role
Trainers will be responsible for:
Facilitating a full-day session grounded in healing circle principles, deep listening, and trauma-informed approaches
Leading a two-hour demonstration healing circle that models inclusive and supportive facilitation
Coaching participants on co-facilitation and working as facilitation teams
Providing clear, practical training materials that participants can use in future circles
Requirements
Budget & Compensation
The budget range for this training ranges from $1,000 – $2,500, excluding travel expenses.Please include a breakdown of costs for preparation, facilitation, materials, and other associated expenses. Travel may be budgeted separately and reimbursed based on need.
Qualifications
Please include the following in your submission:
Experience facilitating healing circles or similar dialogue-based practices
Training in trauma-informed practices and inclusive group facilitation
A demonstrated commitment to advancing racial equity and collective healing
Selection Criteria
Submissions will be reviewed based on:
Alignment with BCTRHT’s values and training goals
Relevant experience and facilitation skills
Clarity and feasibility of the proposed budget
Approach to training design and delivery
Preference will be given to local trainers and vendors.

This session will help emerging facilitators develop core skills while creating space for returning practitioners to deepen their practice through reflection and collaboration.
