January marks six months since I began my internship with BCTRHT. What started as a role focused on social media quickly became something deeper and more intentional. I have learned the importance of showing up with purpose, amplifying community voices, and using my role to support connection and healing across Battle Creek.

I began choosing books that reflected the fullness of lived experience, stories that helped me imagine something better.
